Request for Service

For the vast majority of service requests, the best way to submit your request is through the City’s 311 Report/Pay webpage. This web form submits your request to the service center for routing to the appropriate department. When people email the District 8 office with requests, we are required to then submit using this same form for the vast majority of requests. This is because Berkeley has a City Manager form of government designed to protect frontline civil servants from being directly pressured by Councilmembers.

If after some time you find that you are not receiving a response or resolution to your request, please alert my office by forwarding your 311 email receipt or sending an email to both me and my legislative aide using this link.
